On the initiative of the Citizens’ Council of the Environment of Mongolia, a working group to draft a law to protect river sources, reservoirs, and forest areas from the impact of human activities was established at the Office of the President of Mongolia.
The working group includes ministries and academics. The President of Mongolia will raise it himself, and if he succeeds, he plans to discuss it in the next fall session, if not, in the next spring session.
